What type of Electric Guitar should I buy? Which is the best for me? I'm a beginner, help appreciated.? - recommend alternative to vintage speakers

Hello, my name is Daniel. Hmmm and you need help: D I'm a newbie.
I played guitar for a while, but began to take too seriously, about 3 months. I learned a few basics and more. The 3 months, I learned from me. I'm happy about, guitar lessons), auditory short (only 2-3 months to take advantage and then, guitar lessons. I think that buying an electric guitar. The only thing is that I'm not sure what I buy. The problem is not the money haha (no I'm not rich), the problem is that I want a good guitar, but at the same time, it must be like a guitar for a beginner or a beginner, d rather be "with it, and good quality and can take a few years and the value of money it costsa. I do not know much about the brand of guitar and know everything, but I have to monitor the Ibanez, Squier, Epiphone and some of Michael Kelly. I saw the Fender Squier Stop Dreaming Start Playing Pack, also Ibanez Jumpstart package that Michael Kelly Patriot Vintage Electric Guitar The Epiphone LP-100 and the Epiphone Les Paul Standard. I want a guitar with good support, good pickups, good tuners. I wonder what is the best guitar for beginners as for me, and I would recommend, it might be referred to as the others. Their style is rock, punk, alternative, mainly. Music such as Linkin Park and related groups. It could also consifer. (Even if it is better to start buying a guitar and amplifier package or sold separately).

Thanks.

I play guitar for 14 years, mostly acoustic material. I started to have electricity to about 5 years. I started with a house Yamaha starter pack, which came with an amplifier and everything I needed. He played very well, that sounds good (at least I thought at the time), and it was unbelievable.
The moral of this story is to find something that looks good, plays well, and (perhaps more importantly), sounds good! Some people prefer to go Packages start a decent guitar and amp for a lower price, and some want to buy separately to make sure they get exactly what they want.
As for the guitar, because they say their stuff is kind of music especially rock / punk, I want to emphasize the importance of Epiphone (not Gibson, GIVE-yourself something to work! :]). They almost always come with humbucker-ups with a sound much harder and in conjunction with the distortion of the essence of rock music. Epiphone packs sold some players "for a very good price, but if you want to buy a separate amplifier to control I in the direction of line 6 You are the king of amp modeling that you really explore their musical tastes and playing styles (blues, metal and all that) allows.
In particular, if in his position, if you buy an Epiphone LP-100 or G400 (custom design that you like best) and a Line 6 Spider II 75, for a start. So if they are difficult to resist your computer too much of a positionwe give them shots.
Although, frankly, the only way, if you know how a guitar amp, or one is to try it yourself! Go to a local guitar store (Guitar Center is very popular) and try what you want. This allows you an idea of what each feels like the guitar, and it seems to help in the decision.

Hope this helps!

An Ibanez or ESP would be great to play Linkin Park, but, punk and alternative if you want to play I suggest you want a Epiphone

Only a good Fender Sam Club and Walmart. Or go to your local music store and see what they have ... or even a nail. You can get on a guitar and an amplifier pretty cheap.

I say to anyone looking for a guitar, a Gibson BUY! Les Paul, SG, Flying V guitars, all big and too sweet.

Of all the responses Joey J is closest to being good.
DO NOT BUY CHEAP guitars. Bad Arts produces a bad guitarist. Guitar Center Musiciansfriend part is basically the same. ZZounds.com Sweetwater.com check and see the different models - even Music123.com.

Ibanez RG guitars are good, and maybe I could even go up to $ 750 for an Ibanez Prestige (the upper end Ibanez made in Japan, not Korea), preferably RG or S series, so that you can have professional quality , then get an amp later if you are a little more than a hundred. The learning of a guitar "dry" will show you how to play and really play to control the sound with the fingers and improve their skills with no technology, instead of you.

Gibson Guitars are correct, but WAY OVerpriced quality and a trick pony. Something impressive, but still a trick.

If you are looking for hundreds of other Carvin.com and buy the best amp they can get their money - the final stages are Steve Vai and Zappa, played for example - impressive and affordable, about 1 / 3 of the price of comparable models of other companies.

I started with RG2EX1 Ibanez, it costs only $ 300. As for me years ago and is very good for beginners and good enough for an intermediate player. But as I got to pay $ 750 then I suggest that you would get a guitar in the Ibanez RG series, which has no bridge Edge III tremolo, because as a beginner is a pain to learn, son of land-use change and adaptation, "she said. The defenses are great, but I found the neck of the guitar Ibanez to be faster than what is good for solos and grinding. Believe me RG2EX1 incredible Ibanez is a beginner guitar.
Musiciansfriend on the site is an ideal place to have to get a guitar because they awsome a huge collection of guitars. They have one of my favorite brand of guitar in there too. The PSE, which is a large company is the metal guitar.

For his first electric, I would be a cheap Squier or Epiphone, do not buy a good idea, a guitar very expensive when you start, do not expect to get many miles away, you want to update and d 'get some professional and Fender or Ibanez Gibson or maybe in a year or, if you decide to stay with the electric guitar. I have many bad things about the package at home, including Fender Stop Dreaming Start Playing Pack, although I have no experience with one of them himself.

guitarcenter.com has the same price as Musiciansfriend and guitars are generally more

But since you have a need to take an Epiphone amplifier say $ 400-500 ($ 179.99 Epiphone but offers for beginners and a loud noise) and Schecter Damien 6 is crazy for about $ 350

and a Line 6 Spider III amp ($ 200)

I play guitar for over 30 years and believe me, you have enough money to buy a really great guitar. Musicians friend has a Fender Start HSS (Fat Start) for $ 399. This is not just a good guitar, but a good guitar. Jackson, I play now, but I intend to sell one and buy a house from fat. Guitars Strats are more flexible, because the diversity is the sound. They have great gameplay. Moreover, they are very robust and extremely reliable. They are good loans platform with very little setup and keep the pace through hell! The beginning of the game I played was a cheaper model in Japan, but the guitar, which I did not have a backup copy of ownership. I have my niece, when she started to learn to play, and I am still missing! This is an ax, you can learn more aboutand continue to play for the rest of his life.

ps
After reading some other responses, I would like to further qualify my proposal. As a guitarist first, we do not know know where you get your style and taste as you go. You can be completely different in the music of a few years. The aforementioned Ibanez guitars are very good, I had a couple in the past. This is the principle of separation is the versatility. You can use the priorities that the styles of music that you want to learn and play. They are also comfortable with the heavy metal, punk, jazz, or even (perhaps especially) in country music. Even if you spent $ 1,500 to $ 2,500 for a Gibson Les Paul, there would be a guitar with a degree of flexibility. For most of them stillf Strats online typically half the price of the best brands of the other instruments of the line. Go (more third parties if we are talking about ERP, Jackson, upscale, premium, or ESP. Soloists minimum of $ 1500 and Les Paul is almost 5 miles!) And it almost always takes. Strata most coveted in the world today are over 50 years! (And it's worth of mint, I might add). Strats sound amazing clean tones while reading, but it so amazing when it is saturated to handle sound. The other guitars here, everyone has their own strengths, but one entry in each field is half of the species. Can you say how much I? Trust me, I love my Jackson. My guitar is my dream, but I miss my ex!
